Connect YouTube Securely
AutoShort Uploader uses Google's official OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. When you choose to connect YouTube:
- Google's official authorization page opens in your browser.
- You review the requested permissions.
- You grant or refuse access.
- AutoShort Uploader never asks for your Google password.
- Only explicitly authorized YouTube accounts are available to the application.
Local-First Media Processing
AutoShort Uploader primarily operates locally on your Windows computer. Video creation uses FFmpeg running locally on your machine. Your source images and audio are selected from your own computer and processed entirely on your device.
Media is transmitted to YouTube only when you explicitly request an upload through the YouTube Data API.
You Stay in Control
- You choose which YouTube account to connect.
- You control every upload.
- You control title, description, hashtags, and supported privacy settings.
- You can disconnect or remove account authorization at any time.
- You can separately revoke Google authorization through your Google Account settings.
Built for Official YouTube API Access
AutoShort Uploader uses Google's documented OAuth authorization flow and the official YouTube Data API v3. It does not attempt to bypass OAuth, API quotas, channel limits, compliance reviews, or any YouTube restrictions.
