1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AutoShort Uploader (the "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Application.

2. Description of AutoShort Uploader

AutoShort Uploader is a Windows desktop application that helps authorized YouTube channel owners create vertical YouTube Shorts from locally selected images and audio, and upload them to their authorized YouTube channel through the official YouTube Data API v3. The Application also supports manual uploads of user-selected pre-recorded video files. The Application operates primarily on your local computer.

3. Authorized Accounts

You may only connect Google/YouTube accounts that you own or are explicitly authorized to use. You are solely responsible for all activity conducted through your connected YouTube account. Unauthorized access to accounts you do not own or control is prohibited.

4. User Content

You are responsible for ensuring that you own or have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, and rights for all content you use with AutoShort Uploader, including but not limited to:

  • Images and photographs
  • Audio files and music
  • Videos and video content
  • Titles, descriptions, and hashtags
  • Any other content uploaded or transmitted through the Application

AutoShort Uploader does not grant you any rights to third-party media. You retain full responsibility for the content you upload to YouTube.

5. Rights to Images, Audio, and Videos

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use, reproduce, modify, and upload all content you process through AutoShort Uploader. You agree to indemnify Muhammad Saqib against any claims arising from your use of content for which you lack proper authorization.

6. YouTube API Usage

AutoShort Uploader uses the YouTube Data API v3. Your use of the Application through the YouTube API is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the Google API Services User Data Policy. By using the Application's YouTube API features, you agree to comply with the applicable YouTube Terms of Service.

7. Google OAuth

The Application uses Google's OAuth 2.0 flow. You authorize the Application to act on your behalf through your connected YouTube account within the scope of permissions you grant. Removing a channel from the Application deletes local authorization data; Google-side authorization should be revoked separately through your Google Account security or connected-app settings.

8. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws and YouTube's Terms of Service.
  • Maintain the security of your Google account credentials.
  • Not use the Application for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive purpose.
  • Not attempt to bypass, interfere with, or manipulate the Application's authorization, upload, or scheduling mechanisms.
  • Back up any important data. The Application is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

9. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AutoShort Uploader to:

  • Upload content you do not own or have rights to.
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account.
  • Attempt to bypass YouTube API quotas, limits, or compliance requirements.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application.

10. API Restrictions

YouTube may impose various restrictions on API usage, including but not limited to:

  • Daily and per-project API quotas.
  • Upload limits per channel or per day.
  • Account-level limitations based on channel standing.
  • Privacy restrictions on uploaded content.
  • Compliance review requirements for certain API projects.

AutoShort Uploader cannot guarantee that any specific upload will succeed, be accepted, or be publicly visible. These limitations are imposed by YouTube and are beyond the Application's control.

11. YouTube Quotas and Limits

YouTube imposes API quotas and upload limits that may affect your ability to upload content. These limits are determined by YouTube and may change without notice. AutoShort Uploader does not guarantee:

  • That upload requests will be accepted by YouTube.
  • That uploaded videos will be publicly visible.
  • That your channel will remain eligible for API uploads.
  • Continuous availability of the YouTube Data API.

12. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload through AutoShort Uploader. Muhammad Saqib does not review, moderate, or endorse any content uploaded through the Application. Content that violates YouTube's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service may result in removal or account action by YouTube.

13. Service Availability

The Application is provided as-is. We do not guarantee continuous, error-free, or uninterrupted operation. The Application depends on third-party services including Google's OAuth service and the YouTube Data API, which may experience outages, rate limiting, or changes beyond our control.

14. Software Changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue the Application at any time. Features described in documentation may change or be removed in future versions. We are not obligated to provide updates or maintain backward compatibility.

15. Intellectual Property

AutoShort Uploader and its associated branding are the intellectual property of Muhammad Saqib. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. The Application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC or YouTube.

16. Third-Party Services

The Application integrates with and depends on the following third-party services:

  • Google OAuth 2.0 for authorization.
  • YouTube Data API v3 for channel information and video uploads.
  • FFmpeg for local video processing.

Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

17. Disclaimer

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Muhammad Saqib DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Muhammad Saqib SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APPLICATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE APPLICATION SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APPLICATION (IF ANY).

19. Termination

You may stop using the Application at any time by uninstalling it. These Terms remain in effect regarding any data processed or actions taken while you used the Application. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Application at our discretion if you violate these Terms.

20. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
